Hi Guys,

I am working on a site for someone and I need to upload a database file which is over 2000mb in size. I need to get this uploaded to the server as fast as I can and was wondering if any one had any ideas.

I am currently using filezilla but it is taking for ever and I was hoping to find a faster solution.

thanks in advance

quick question is there a way I can do it using putty? I would need to upload the file from my desktop to the server? Is there a code I could use?

FTP should be the fastest. Do you have a slow internet connection?

See if you can put the database on a DVD or on multiple CDs and then overnight it to where the server is and see if they can put it on there.
