yes we are looking into this now - I just posted about something similar actually

Here's a sneak peek at our simplified landers, launching soon. We removed a lot of the fluff to keep viewers focused on the buy button.

Question: should we remove the "message seller" button to encourage making offers instead of chit-chat or lowball offers? We would still allow you to reply directly to offers with our self-brokerage chat to keep you in control

Let me know what you think!

The lander looks nice.

Basically, we need at least three landers to choose from.
1. Atom complinat BIN only lander
2. BIN and Make Offer lander
3. Make Offer lander

If someone needs the "Message Seller" option, allow it with 2nd or 3rd landers. However, it requires tight controls, as scammers and spammers could exploit this option.

I believe the "Message seller" option is a wonderful idea. Some seasoned investors have been requesting for that option (message seller or start a conversation) on many landing pages.

In fact, it's a far better alternative to "Make offer". Studies by Atom have shown that Make offer tends to dilute the value of a domain name. Plus, a lot of potential buyers seems to find the idea of "Make offer" intimidating. In contrast, "Message seller" ("Start a conversation" would be an even better option) seems approachable and friendly with no obligation to it. So DON'T remove it.

SUGGESTION:

Instead of putting the "Message Seller" option in the "Get this domain" box and making it seem like an alternative to BIN, I believe it'll work better as something on the page in ADDITION to the BIN instead of an alternative to the BIN.

So, the end result should for a domain with only a BIN lander with the "Message Seller" option enabled should look like:

[Get this domain box]
BIN
[Proceed to payment]

(Message seller/Start a conversation)

Point is the "Message Seller" option should not be inside the "Get this domain" box.

Other than that, it's a great idea that should definitely not be discarded in favour of "Make offer".

Vote on keeping the messaging option. It's valuable. Or at least make it optional to disable.

On a side note, do you offer Grace Delete for new domains like Dynadot? I hand regged some domains yesterday on impulse, and today I see I misspelled some

@Unstoppable Domains

The current landing page has "View Seller Storefront" link, which forwards to ud.me/domainname.ext. It does not show the "storefront" though, it exposes all domains in the account! Please fix that ASAP!

Even displaying the "storefront" (the domains which were listed for sale) should be completely optional, not everyone wants to be a portfolio-type seller.

However, showing the entire account content is absolutely unacceptable and is a huge privacy threat โ€“ e.g. some people own firstnamelastname type of domains or other domains unrelated to their domain selling activities which domain viewers/buyers should not know about.

Hi!

Just started to use UD

Seems fast and stable site

Some generic questions

>>For UD Marketplace sales that occur where a wallet is designated for a payout, the funds from the sale will be >>paid out in USDC on Polygon, not to the Sales Balance.

Here you mean that if a wallet eg metamask is connected, funds from a sale will go directly there? what is the meaning of it, could do it manually if needed cos many investors would like to convert part or all of sales balance to account balance to use for purchases. Also "designated for a payout" not so clear,if a wallet is added i do not see any option to make default for payout.

So in conclusion payout methods are a wallet or bank? No paypal etc?

>>
>>Why Choose the Unstoppable Marketplace:
>>SedoMLS fast transfer gives you maximum exposure to end buyers at 600+ resellers and registrars
>>We Support Payments in Credit Card, Crypto, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal

Some quesitosn also on this::
Names listed with BIN at UD marketplace are also automatically listed at sedo MLS ? truth is did not find option to connect a sedo account. So how MLS works here?
Also if a name sold at UD via Sedo MLS, how do oyu handle invoicing?

Payment methods all ok, i see only option for credit card though.

Generally very good feeling, and many modern things but nothing is so clear at docs, some points are very confusing at least to me, but probably will be the future of domain investing.

Thanks

I tried to register a domain name yesterday and UNSTOPPABLE failed to register it until now. Had to register it at a different registrar.

It looks like they've not even attempted to register the domain name in their backend because they've not issued a refund for the domain name.

Their refunds are typically in the form of account balances that could be used to register a new domain name.

I tried to register a domain name today to see if they'd processed the refund and that's when I learned they haven't even attempted to register the domain name.

I proceeded to pay for the new domain name with PayPal to see if they'd resolved their issues, they have NOT.

It's been about 40 minutes since I was charged for the registration of the new domain name and it remains UNREGISTERED.

Anybody can still snatch it up at a registrar that has its shits together.

I have reported this issue of delayed registration TWICE on this thread. First report was MONTHS ago. Yet they refused to devise a permanent solution to such a fundamental problem.

Guess they are fine being a Tier-D registrar.

my regs go ok.
they are off fresh expiries so sometime someone beat me to reg... happened few day ago. igot instant balance credit.

I use paypal.

I also do not appreciate them not allowing regs with meta in it.. so metaverse etc. I can see they may have issue with word but when they are the only one on earth who bans these regs then it's time to look again

I dont care much. its not my fave niche. but once a few month I reg one

thanks for this - we're looking into templates to make it easier to choose your landers. of course we'll also allow you to toggle each feature individually fox max control, too. see a mockup here of what's coming soon:

how do you think LTO should be incorporated into the default templates?

You can disable seller storefront links in your presets, look for them in the left sidebar of your dashboard. We also remove them entirely in our upcoming lander revamp launching soon.

You can still optionally forward domains to these seller storefronts of course

If storefront is disabled at these settings still appears at landing page. When it is pressed it goes to same lander, Better remove it

@UnstoppableBrady
hey Brady here thanks for the kind words. glad you are trying us out. I have been editing our docs based on your suggestions

as to your questions:

Payout via USDC to your wallet - This will not apply to most users. By default most users will simply have sales proceeds show up in their account as sales balance which they can withdraw (after KYCing) via ACH, wire, or crypto via bitpay. Most users will not interact with any wallet so that we keep the experience as simple and web2-friendly as possible. For web3 oriented users, you can connect a web3 wallet and receive payouts that way. You can designate a payout wallet during the list-for-sale flow. But there will necessarily be added friction when using a wallet so we don't recommend it for most users. I am checking to see about KYC policies when withdrawing via USDC to wallet. I will update the support article when I know more

How to list on SedoMLS - Listing on SedoMLS is not automatic. It requires that you go to sedo's site to configure listings (bulk via CSV is supported). We are working on making this process more seamless by generating the CSV and applying any TXT records for you during the listing process at UD.

Payment & payout methods supported with fees - since you asked about payment methods. I don't believe we support paypal for cashout yet, but I've added it to the roadmap

Gabriel, I understand and believe me when I say we're as frustrated as you are. Unfortunately the problem is with our backend RSP Gransy and is out of our immediate control. We are making progress on replacing them entirely so we can have more reliable service but it is a large undertaking that will take some time to implement.

here's my original reply for context.
