well... u know... we are there for year1.. then to keep savings u need to renew year2 regular price. which fortunately is good. else if tjhay was ripoff the whole promo would be worth shit.

tjay being said... a 2year venture.. I honestly don't worry much for bulk transfer out or others.

Do you know that by default your domains are "tokenized" and all your portfolio there can be tracked back? And do you know that the only way to avoid that is going manually to "detokenize" them one by one?

Also bulk transfer out is not present, so if they raise prices and you want to move you have to unblock and request auth code one by one....

I had great expectations and moved a couple hundreds domains there to test the waters and I'm already regretting it...

Portfolio tracking of tokenized assets:

It's akin to showing your other domains on more traditional marketplaces like Dynadot.

If you don't want people to know what awesome domains you have in your portfolio you can use multiple wallets / accounts.

Crypto is very speculative and that's why there are stablecoins and as the name suggests the price doesn't fluctuate like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

and yea crypto is tricky..not always loss.. but most lose.. when btc was 10k I had 2btc.. my max ever.. all from name sales...so no real investment per se.. still it's a loss... lost all... some bad trades etc.. recently I got bored a decided to put 1k into crypto. u need to stick to known cons to reduce risk. if u practice and spend some time... it really is by small jumps possible to make small money... it's fun and pays gas... like u know... buy 3 bitcoin cash at 350us each and sell at 360

that's 30us up

repeat daily and adds up


so with my small budgetand no faith in crypto much.. this would be my strategy.

otherwise go buy 1btc at 90k... and not
sleep at nite cause it can be 60k tomorrow...

You register/transfer a domain to UD, it automatically gets "tokenized". And now this domain is linked to your other domains in your UD portfolio and people can see publicly all your portfolio.

Problem is the whole process is very time consuming since they don't let users "detokenize" domains in bulk and so far customer support refused to do it for me. So basically or you waste your time or you let other people track your acquisitions (even the ones in new niches you are exploring...)

I got into the blockchain sector around a decade ago so I'm biased regarding the benefits, but I understand the aspect of new niches, if there is such a thing

I have seen on X that Unstoppable have been adding additional bulk features so presumably detokenization will come in due course, but as per my earlier post, portfolios can be split across anonymous wallets / accounts.

Can someone clarify I read 2 versions even asked GPT, I want to see to move some domains to UD before doing that.
1. the cheap transfer promo apply if you keep the domain for 1 year there, after one year passed, after the initial transfer, you can transfer away without pay the remaining price from promo?
2. after you transfer to them, then after one year pass renew with them for 1 year only then later you can transfer without pay additional money from reduced promo?
What is the truth behind this, if second you get 2 years cheaper than 11 initial price, e.g 11 + 6 = 17$ not 22$ I m right?
edit: why so much confusion? Tell directly transfer cheap, renew for a second year with us, get reduction for 2 years.

Unless you have enabled public WHOIS info for your domains, these domains cannot be tracked back to you. The tokenized domains lie in a wallet - which btw, you can split between wallets for no cost at all. Just transfer from one wallet to other within unstoppable itself.

As for the promo domains, all domains by default sit in UD-assigned custodial wallet, which is not accessible by you. So better to move it to your self-custody wallet asap so you have full control.

Simply put, there is no real benefit in 'detokenizing'. Just a waste of time. Although, you do have to detokenize if you wanna transfer to a traditional registrar afaik.

Nope, buyer can directly buy on NameMaxi. It's a near instant process since transaction is onchain. Our commission is 1.5% for all sales. And sure, once you have your wallet ready, DM us here or on twitter and we'll send you over some POL to cover the gas fees.

Yep. Payout is to whatever wallet is connected to NameMaxi. Commission is flat 1.5% yes. That's the lowest commission rates on the market

I also notice when we put their lander often it fails to load. so I always redirect bodis now. that works all time even when their lander fails.
