I don't have anything to do with the appraisal. I teach the domain academy. We have four separate appraisal tools inside the domain academy and the GoDaddy tool is just one of the ones we use. We really focus on teaching people how to value a domain name on their own and not to rely on any one automated system. I do think @GoDaddy is working on redoing things across the board and they should be able to give you a better answer as they are closer to it than I am.

I see the confusion. I am not any of the other GoDaddy handles. I am Joe Styler and I run domain academy at GoDaddy. I only check in only for this handle. I don't have any access to the other GoDaddy handles they are run by someone else. I don't see any of those tags. I think with my focus on teaching and content creation that it is better for someone (the other GoDaddy handles) who is day to day involved with the product and support teams to reply to things outside Domain Academy because they will have the best understanding of what is going on and what changes are in store, etc. Sorry for any confusion.
