Unknown traffic sites

I've been running into a lot of expiring sites with traffic in 20k+ range but with no Alexa rating or backlinks.
Website names are weird enough that I am rather confident it wasn't a typein. Not sure about typoin but...

Any idea on how to properly evaluate these?

Check your sources that where the traffic is coming from. It might be that someone is brute forcing or trying to take down your site. So, take it with caution. Anyway, what is your site about and if it is using Wordpress then use some security plugin like wordfence with firewall.
