Domain availability check at godaddy is not real-time and not reliable. They must be using the zone files (offline) instead of a live connection to the registry. I would bet it was actually no longer available before you added it to the cart. In the future check with other registrars. In my experience, Enom, Namecheap, Moniker, Dynadot etc are accurate.

I understand and in fact the name was searched on another service then was searched at GD only to buy.
I was adding a couple of names and as the shopping cart refreshed the name disappear.

Also note the " Name Server: No nameserver " ...... Not yet populated

By the way ... I got upset and typed, in a slight tantrum, this url and it is available. Apropos so I just might
reg it just for fun :p
