I found this pretty cool math trick, check it out and try it yourself.

1. Grab a calculator (can just use the one on your box)
2. Key in the first 3 digits of your phone number (not your area code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again
8. Subtract by 250
9. Divide that number by 2

Done! Recognize it?

I found it pretty cool... I cant stop trying to figure it out though, its been bugging me the whole day D-: !

It's actually not that confusing when you write it all out. If you don't want to know how this works, I guess you'd better stop reading here. :p

Supposing your phone number is represented by:
abc-defg

You could write the first number (1st 3 digits) as:
100a+10b+c

And the second number (last 4 digits) as:
1000d+100e+10f+g

Then the whole expression would come out to:
(((100a + 10b + c)(80) + 1)(250) + 2(1000d + 100e + 10f + g) -250) / 2

If you expand that you will get:
1000000a + 100000b + 10000c + 1000d + 100e + 10f + g

Therefore appearing on the calculator in the same order as in the original phone number:
abc-defg

and that's based on a xxx-xxxx number

Worked for me :) Too busy or too lazy to work it out on paper lol, thankfully the handy windows caculator helped me out.
