I just bought the domain ukbd.net today at low $$

It can stand for United Kingdom Business Directory

Do you think it is a good investment?

It seems http://www.ukbd.org.uk/ is an active small forum (UK Boxer Dogs).
Even the org is developed.
The org will be expired on 2010 so you will have a long time to promote yours :imho:
I guess low $xx is the correct price for resellers.
