I've just been reading this article in Scotland a man was buying up all the town names for 99p and selling..
He can't get a udrp on uk name so nominate have received the complaint/s.

Internet domain names for Scottish towns have been snapped up by a “cyber squatter” who has been accused of trying to hold tourist boards to ransom.

Businessman George Marshall is facing claims he is attempting to cash in on taxpayers by snapping up internet addresses for as little as 99p and selling them for thousands on his Brandwise site.

The so-called “cyber squatter” is demanding £4995 for the domain name www.cumbernauld.co.uk.

The 50-year-old also wants £3995 for www.bearsden.co.uk.
