If I register a .org.uk at enom, and I want to transfer this to my buyer also at enom, will there be a nominet transfer fee upon transferring within registar? How long does a .uk transfer take?

To change the registrant name show in the UK whois, you will need to do the Nominet ownership transfer thingy. Quite a pain actually.

Hi

Yes it is a pain. You have to get the nominent paperwork send to yourself then you have to post the forms to the new register then they send them back.

I am transferring a domain name to someone else taking a while but the guy is slow!! Sedo have been great at moving him along faster though!! And getting the money !!

Ah...so it'll be very time consuming I suppose? Is that why .uk is having such low reg fee?

I guess so. From my experience it is a pain to transfer a .co.uk to another user . Wish you could push them direct into buyers account. But you cant in my experience , All that paper work!!!
