Hello I was just wondering whats the most you ever saw a UK domain name sell for?

connected.co.uk ... $157,931 ... 13/06/07 ... Private Sale

then ...

taste.co.uk ... $100,000 ... 01/02/03 ... Private Sale
codes.co.uk ... $60,000 ... 27/06/07 ... SEDO





DN Sale Price also has connected.co.uk as highest .uk domain sold ...





for the rest domains go to the respective sites and tweak with the options/controls ... eg. choose .co.uk domains and then click on sale price to sort it from higher to lower ...





you can also go to DN Journal and search the YTD Sales Charts (Year-To-Date Sales Charts) ... by clicking Edit on your browser ... then Find (on this page) ... and then putting .co.uk in the search field ...

cruises.co.uk is the higher .uk domain sold for $184,464 ... 2006 ... SEDO


I guess domainspade owns some competitive cruise site and wanted to bury that particular sale :p

taste.co.uk actually sold for £129,250 or around $260,000 according to giraffe.co.uk, there second biggest sale is three.co.uk for £119,850 around $240,000

Yes - note that $ to £ exchange rate is near 2 : 1 ! So quoting £ prices as $ halves the amount!!

There have been a fair number of similar £xxx,xxx sales however usually they are to end users in .UK and thus have NDA's.

I am aware of one name and associated set of names that if they were sold at the offer made it would have been over £x,xxx,xxx . It is possible to work out which names due to earnings / sector

Three is the one of the biggest mobile companies here in UK. I would say .. sale of three.co.uk does not add value to .co.uk because Three would agree to pay similar amount for the domain three.tld (i.e three.ae) if they launch their service in some other country.
