I recently registered quite a few remaining UK county .info domains. Some of the counties are holidaying and walking destinations in Scotland and Wales.

I know its a bit of a common response on here, but with those names not being that well known outside of wales and scotland I think development is key to attracting traffic.

I would agree that development is a good way to go. But I think the possibility of them being used of hiking and holidaying destination domains may give them some value.

What also attracts me is the potential for local portal websites. Here are the population sizes:
Brecknockshire - 56,000
Cardiganshire - 64,000
Merioneth - 34,000 (also contains a large part of the Snowdonia national park which is renowned as a hiking destination)

I also just added Caernarfonshire.info to the domains, this county has a population of 128,000, which would certainly provide rich pickings of money from local advertisers.
