I don't own this domain but interested in buying it.
I'm particpating in a 3 days private auction.
Please appraise the above domain.

It's actually a pretty good LLLL name but don't trust Estibot appraisal too much.

Its value is nowhere near $315k and the most realistic resell price is in the range of $100-$400.

I'm not an expert, just sharing my opinion.

UCSF.edu is the reason. But they probably don't want or need it. I could be wrong.

Regardless, you better have deep pockets. It's easily a $xx,xxx name, and quite possibly a $xxx,xxx one.

You're right.
Those who have deep pockets/end users who have nothing to do with domaining and mostly buy domains for much more than their resell value are most likely participating in this auction.
