We recently saw the domain name Gmeil.com, which is clearly a typo of Gmail.com, sell for $3,255 in a domain drop auction.
The domain name has an original registration date of 2004, so Google had over a decade to go and get the domain through a UDRP.
According to Screenshots.com the domain has been parked since at least 2005.

Also, Gmailcom.com sold for $1,610. Again a typo of Gmail.com!
Considering the the amount of typo traffic it must be receiving, was it sold for cheap??
Have you had any good revenue from the traffic obtained via typo domains?
Would be great if you could share your experience with typo domains!!
