All popular domains are taken, and main extensions taken before 2000! Both keywords could be easy connected to Internet too, so they definately have value. Estibot estimate hitcounter.com at $100k.
Google shows arround 30 millions results for "bidders" and about 240 millions results for "hitcounter" and the same for "hit counter".
