GoDaddyGoDaddy
The first one is a trademark domain. Just drop the domain as soon as possible.

The second is reg fee.

LOL, I'm just looking into my crystal ball, and i see a post coming asking

"Whats wrong with GoogleToolz.com?, why should i drop it, what do you mean it's a trademark, surely I can sell it to Google."

First of all, this isn't the right section for asking for appraisals.

G/toolz has TM issues and you'd better ask for a refund.

The second one is reg fee.

Agreed if you just regged GoogleToolz get a refund and fast....

SerialBank isn't that bad. They only use I see would be a Warez type of site where you provide serial numbers for software or a website where you legally sell serial numbers to legit software.

If thats the case, the domain service provider is also at fault. They shuldnt be selling trademark names in the 1st place.

If the name is at GoDaddy, send them an email saying you made a mistake in registering it. AFAIK GoDaddy has never refused to fulfil a refund request. If it's at another registrar, try to send them the same request, but the chances they'll accept it are significantly lower.

many people here have made mistakes one way or another , if you only ever lose $8 in domaining you have done well

To fulfill the crystal ball prophecy...

What will happen if he keeps the name? Let's say google comes out with an app named Toolz. Will google file a lawsuit against him? Will they make a complaint with ICANN? Wouldn't it be easier for google to just pay him a few thousand bucks and be done with it, rather than go through a drawn out series of court proceedings that will cost them many times more than a few thousand bucks?

Are there any documented cases of any of these scenarios happening?

How absolutely amazing! here is the site, tools.google.com (google it), why don't you shoot them an email letting them know you will sell googletoolz.com to them for $3,000.00.

Make sure you let them know they would be buying a superior domain to theirs, and don't forget to remind them that it may cost many times more than a few thousand bucks if they tried to take you to court.

My guess is they will shoot you back an email straight away with the check for $3,000.00 and thanking you for enlightening them as to the merits of your domain name. I'm sure they would just be shaking in fear at a lawsuit costing many times more than $3000.000!!!

WAKE UP.

Got to admit this guy is smart, he has privacy protection and has used the domain name as his company name, yep, reg fee, privacy fee AND a lawsuit,

that's a hat-trick my friend!
