Twicky.com

Short, catchy and brandable, suitable for practically anything. The .net .org and .info are also taken by different people. Apparently it has an “urban” slang type meaning “An adjective used to describe something that is awesome, amazing, cool, wicked pissah.”

What do you think it’s worth?

Many thanks

John

:-/ Hmmm, this is a 'twicky' one. Maybe a parody or fan site for Elmer Fudd??

Could go for high $xx reseller. The tricky part of this type of domains is that all of them are so unique that all you can say on behalf of the domain is "short, catchy and brandable"...with no "related" sales report to justify a high asking price.

I have a few of those too (...)

Definitely, short, catchy and brandable, difficult to put the price on this one, I would wait for an offer around low to mid $xxx for sure.:gn:

I like it, potential end user interest is low, but potential offer is impossible to predict.

Good luck

Even that it sounds catchy and has a meaning the resale price would probably be in the mid - high $xx area. There are just so many "catchy" domains on the market. For example, decent four letter .com domains can be acquired within the $xx range.

Thanks guys, it is indeed a twicky one to appraise and just like all domains I guess the kind of value it is likely to fetch could vary significantly between a reseller and an end user. It’s also the kind of domain that some people will like the ring of much more than others, which could also make a big difference to the kind of offers you get.

It is true that there are a lot of “catchy” domains on the market although some of them are better than others, most of the catchy so called pronounceables I have seen in the XX range aren’t that good especially the 4 letter ones, but now and again I am sure there are some bargains.

Anyway I appreciate the input, I know it’s a funny one to appraise. Thanks to everyone who has contributed I really am very grateful.
