I recently picked this domain up and am looking for educated appraisals. I have received three very solid offers in the last couple days. It is extremely rare to find a CountryOnline.com of a country this size. It is also dual use as Turkey is also an extremely profitable type of bird.

- CountryOnline.com are very popular. Basically all CountryOnline.com have been taken for years and many are developed.

- The most famous "CountryOnline.com" being "AmericaOnline.com" of course

I consider this to be a very nice "Turkey" domain name from both perspectives (read below).

From the animal point of view, a comparable sale would be "CatOnline.com" that sold for $9,650

From a "GEOonline" domain point of view, I think HongKongOnline.com sold for $3,000 a few months back. Turkey has the advantage of being generic, one of the only words to mean a country + popular bird at the same time. No just any bird, a delicious one at that.

Also, it is worth mentioning that at this time of the year, Turkeys are the most popular species in the animal kingdom. A whopping 231 million results for the bird alone.

You could maybe get $5,000 to $8,000 from an end user. "wordONLINE" domains have sold for very nice prices in the past. The right buyer at the right time may be prepared to spend more however.

The domain would also be a breeze to develop in both directions.

More or less I agree with federer...
It has a very nice advantage of being a bird and also a country......I think resellers too would be interested in this as a collectible.
My appraisal would be a high $XXXX to low $XX,XXX.

Domain with extreme potential - as you said country + very popular dinning food . I'd say for resellers in mid - high $xxx, but much more for interested end user probably ranging from mid $x,xxx +
