So I'm trying to speed up my friends computer because its running really slow. When i look at what programs are running the "System Idle Process" is taking up anywhere from 80-93% of the CPU usage. How can I fix that?

As stated earlier System Idle Resources is nothing to worry about, the higher the better for it. More RAM will boost performace, as well check out what all programs start up on System startup, get rid of the uneeded ones starting up, as that will boost startup speed, as well computer speed since all those programs won't be running fro the get go.joeorgasmic said:So I'm trying to speed up my friends computer because its running really slow.
