Hello,

I was wondering, if there is a way to make a timer that, going step by step:

Say if you had 10 pictures, for every hour. 1pm to 10pm

1. If it can be done as to type in a form the number of an hour (like 5)

2. If the number is typed in, it would directly take you to a picture made at
5 pm

Could this be done?
Just wondering.
Speaking for a friend. :)

Thank you if anyone can help :)

I could help you if I knew what you meant..

You have a form, and the person puts in a number.

If they typed 5, it takes them to like 5.jpg?

What a helpful post :)

Only as helpful as the original question. He asked if it could be done and he received a response.

If he asks the right questions he'll get a better answer. Hint: How are you creating the images? Dynamically? Uploading via FTP? What are your file naming conventions? Do we have to take the timestamp of the file to work out when it was created?

So, although it seems my response was 'unhelpful', who are we to guess his exact requirements? Only he can figure that out.

Yes it can be done, look into using a cron event with a php file, otherwise php times out after 30~120 seconds. Though more information is needed.
