but you see godaddy has lot of premium domains which one start with "travels dot other extensions" is very high pricing premium domains.

Yes, but still, "travelguru" is taken in MANY extensions, while "Travelsguru" only in dot com. Together with the .guru TLD, I think "travels" make little sense for most potential buyers, but I might be wrong.

Ps. I sold Traveling.guide back in 2014 for $175.

If English is not your first language you will not understand why this has no value. Just like I don't buy German spelling domains, as I don't know what they mean, you are just gambling on the perceived notion of the keyword TRAVELS, but once paired with another keyword it becomes meaningless, and worthless.
