Hi I just recently got an expression of interest in one of my names. Could someone please post the transfer process step by step please? I would really appreciate it.

Some more info would help...

Where is the domain registered, and is it over 60 days old?

The buyer will probably only require the domain to be pushed to their own godaddy account. IMO you should wait until you have closed the deal and found out exactly how the buyer wants to proceed, either push or transfer, then ask your question.

There are many here who will assist you. :)

PS: Just noticed Len's post - yes, make sure all the details are worked
out first, payment etc.

If the interested party wants to open a free account (or has an exisiting account)
at Godaddy, you can "Push" it to his account with their Godaddy ID and/or account email info.
(There is no fee)

If they don't want to do that, and have another registrar they want it sent
to - it would be a "Transfer".
Can be initiated by the buyer - After he requests the domain at the gaining Registrar,
you'll get the emails initiating the transfer to them.
(There is a fee)

Hope that helps :)

Transfers are also more prone to problems & user error....

Transfer is an automated process and it should complete within 5-6 business days. However, there may be a delay in some cases but 5-6 days are enough/
