Transfer out domain to another registrars is a best way to save in this financial crisis instead of paying renewals cost. Here is some of the registrar that offer low cost transfer -
(Note: Transfer will add 1 year registration length. As an example, if your domain will expired in 10-10-2009, after transfer your domain will add 1 year registration length, which until 9-10-2010)
