Both are high value domains, I am not sure how would tradedirectory.mobi fare.

The two names do not compare at all Business dot com has 1,501,048 OVT, tradedirectory has 407. The names are not in the same ballpark, not even close. As far as the .mobi version of tradedirectory I have already given my opinion, so ne need to restate it.

No problem. OVT stand for Overture, it is the number of times a given word or phrase was typed into Yahoo in the prior month.

The web address is:

When using this tool, be aware that sometimes the results show up in reverse order. For example "used cars" may show up as "cars used", obviously used cars is the name you would want to register to get any type in traffic. Also, plurals and singular are combined, so used car and used cars would show as one. Not to mention that some linking words are ommited as well.

Often I just type in the name i'm thinking of registering with the .com extension to get a rough idea of what sort of type in traffic that name gets. If the OVT is good when you do that it is probably a good name to register (no garauntess though), unless the OVT is because of an already established website. Then you may have a TM issue with if you register the .mobi.

I would go into TM issues in this thread. But you can use the search function of this site to search for more information on OVT and also TM issues. I would start there if you are new to the game.
