Technically it’s a 3 letter domain, and Tracy is a common name that could be used for a company that “traces” something.

I don’t know much about domain hacking. Are there comps on sales of hacky domains?

My concern with this domain would be

• The high renewal cost, which can drive your minimum asking price to an unreasonable level (What’s your renewal cost?)
  
• It is not supported by GoDaddy, Afternic or Epik, though it seems to be supported by Sedo, so your sales venue is limited
• Whereas .io, .tv, .cc and some others are considered by Google as generic top level domain, .cy is geo-specific, so it would have no SEO value

I cant see a business using this as their domain... I can see domain investors, Internet entrepreneurs and freelancers using this type of domain. However I cant see them paying more then $1k for tbh.
