NameBio tracked 229 domain sales $100+ for a reported total of $120,212.00 with an average price of $524.94 per sale. Compared to the day before, there was a decrease of 19% in the number of sales and the total dollar volume decreased by 28%. NameBio also recorded an additional 1,266 sales below $100 for a total of $28,151.

Looks like it should be worth a lot more. ngTLDs are unpredictable.

This is why I only buy a few when they go 99 cents each.

Just an observation. Of the 229 sales of domains sold at or above $100, there were 95 sold above $250 and 134 in between $100 to $250.

Granted this is only one days numbers, but its clear from this sample that slightly more than 50% of the names sell between $100 to $250 (excluding sales below $100 which is liquidation or abandonment to me).

Personally, I like to price my poor or crappy names at $225, as I find it to be some weird psychological thing for some buyers when they hit or go above $250. I just had an offer for a 4L .org start at $100, went to $200, but would not go above to $250. I drop to $225 and make the sale. Happens a lot with lower quality names.

For me, liquidation or abandonment is $135 to $185 on Undeveloped or $185 on Sedo or Afternic. I just wont deal with sub $100 sales on platforms that take a percentage of the sale. I dont have many crap names to expire, so trying to recover reg fee is a waste of energy.
