oh reg-fee ???!!!, i wonder if it was Topix.info or .net or even .com would you say you don't think its even a real word in case of it had 200k extract search and the .com extension sold for 1 million dollar ??

beside i own those 2 domains too ..
CarSales.im ==> CarSales.com sold for 400k$
Invention.im ==> Invention.com sold for 500k$

well, everybody know that Topix.com, CarSales.im and Invention.im from the most expensive domains on .com, so i guess if you wanna say that any of those 3 domains worth only the reg-fee, then we should ignore the all .im extension because in this case the all names on it will be worthless, right ??? !!!!!

Oh %%#$%#$#.... I give up with you, not going to try and help anymore

Cant you see it....the .net and .info are in the top 5 most popular extensions, you will be able to sell keywords, generics, brandables, and if the .com sold for good money, it makes it a little easier, but when you have a .IM domain, the fact a .COM sold for a large amount has no bearing at all.

No, I wouldnt say that cos those are popular and estsablished extensions and Topix would be a nice, catchy brandable name, .IM is a crap extension, if you had Lawyer.IM or Search.im, then it may different

Topix is not a dictionary (??) word but that doesnt mean its not a well-searched term, if you look, it means all sorts of things, company names, software, nicknames of people etc etc

Absolutely right, you are spot on there, they are worthless - Just becasue the .com sold well, doesnt mean some little island extension will do well with same name - I bet those names are expired at this time next year

CarSales.cpom - USA has around 350 million people (approx) and that is a sh1tload od cars to be sold, how may cars do you think get sold on the Isle of Man (here is a potential buyer for you - The Vehicle Sourcing Centre - Welcome - Isle Of Man)

Invention.im - Maybe try and find an inventor on the Isle of Man

Your best bet is to do your research on the Island first, do you know what its famous for, tourism, fishing, forestry, industry, cars etc

Aim your domains at something when getting small island extension, can you not see that, dont just grab a huge keyword cos it looks good. Whose going to buy it off you and for what purpose.

Do some research on the Island

$0. .IM barely has any value for great keywords, nevermind this one.

Loan dotim somewhat recently sold for under $20 at auction, IMO an incredible keyword. Is Topix a keyword???

You might consider putting a minisite on them and see if they can get indexed in some search engines for the keyword. Then you might have some value in them.

My opinion is they are worth $1 - $10 reseller but you can go out and find your end user for these like Gilescoley mentioned.

Good luck

Brandable domains are more difficult to sell. In a poor extension it's nigh to impossible.

This domain would be a perfect addition to your signature. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Now all you need is to find a needle in the haystack. IMO.

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is a FREE appraisal. This is a guess at quick flip resale value not an unrealistic end-user price. Often times my appraisals are rushed, too low, or too high. Sometimes my advice is totally wrong and occasionally downright dumb. If the post stamp is after 5:00pm EST, the chances are even greater that inaccuracies will occur due to blood alcohol levels.

:hehe:

Crazy.workz,
It's much harder to try to domain in a foreign language. I would recommend that you consider trying to domain in your native tongue first. Also, try to only buy names that could be used to build a site that someone could be willing to visit, or better yet, names that represent goods and services (generic, not trademarked) that people are wiling to search for and pay for.

I see no obvious value in this name and once again you are comparing .com sales with .crap domains.

You are trying too hard to find a perfect domain, dont try so hard because it most likely wont happen, reg. dropped .coms, ones that at least make sense, look/search the drop list for today, Im sure you will find and be able to reg something at least worth while.

Not saying my names are the best but most make sense and I hand regged them all from the daily drops...
