Top Paying Keywords

I recently came across this website, http://www.toppayingkeywords.com. It gives you a list of Google Adsense keywords and how much they pay for $199. Do you think it's worth the money, and is it legal? The website says that money can be made by "optimizing" the text of my website so it would bring up certain keywords in the Google Ads or creating new websites related to these specific keywords in the list.

hmm...why do you need to pay for it? u can just test the keyword in google adsense for advertisers and they will tell how much it cost!

Don't think Google publishes a list of their top payers - I would be interested in seeing it, but I wouldn't pay $199 for it.

Against TOS on their part, I'd be suspicious....

Overture publishes their bids for free, equiv to google, don't pay for something that is free.

If you check the fine print, the top paying keyword list are not actual Adwords/Adsense click prices. The theory is that if a keyword is high paying at one search engine its likely to have high click prices with Adsense. This is often the case.

The current database was updated in October 2004. The database includes 12,680 keywords that have at least three advertisers paying at least 5 cents per click on a major pay per placement search engine.

Sign up for an adwords account, and when you make any ad, when you choose your keywords it will tell you what you would have to bid to have the top spot. That will be about .05 more than what the top bid is on that keyword. Then you divide that by 2 because what advertisers pay is not what publishers get

Thanks for the tip Allan, and thanks for pointing this out RJ. I wouldn't want to waste my $$$ paying for a top paying keywords list that may not be accurate/up to date.

Violates both adwords and adsense TOS, only a matter of time until that is gone.

That seems like a legit list, but as Allan said, only a matter of time before Google finds out and takes action. Off the topic, why hasn't Google done anything about toppayingkeywords.com, the site mentioned by the first poster in this thread?

Don't waste your money.
