.id is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Indonesia, which is #4th world's most populous country and Southeast Asia’s largest economy with 256 million people.

Currently Indonesia is the fastest growing economy in Asia surpassing China & India in terms of growth rate.

The .ID extension is definitely the future of the Indonesian Webspace and the market is starting to move extremely fast at this moment in time, some very exciting times ahead! Not sure if you guys have been keeping up to date with the news, but over the last few months, there has been some very big news about the Indonesian webspace market. GO-JEK, Indonesia’s largest Uber’s rival company, raised $1Billion in total venture capitalists, and $1 Billion just last year and the company is now valued at $2 Billion.

Also during the same month, Amazon announced to enter in Indonesia’s ecommerce market in Indonesia, following Alibaba’s $1 billion deal in acquiring Lazada’s ecommerce who wants to expands in Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia being the largest market.

E-commerce in Indonesia is growing at a compound annual rate of 50 percent!, with current projections putting this archipelago nation’s e-market at $130 billion by 2020 (coming third behind China and India).

Indonesia also has the highest mobile Facebook usage rate worldwide, with 63 million users in 2015.
Indonesia’s e-commerce market is on track to be one of the largest in Asia.

The local search engines tend to give priority to local domains and Google in Indonesia will tend to give priority for .ID extensions when end users are searching for specific items. Therefore IF any major corporation is interested in gaining traffic from INDONESIAN customers then they will need the .ID extension to further this cause and create a highly ranked online portal to their store/services through the Indonesian webspace.

.ID is now the primary extension for Indonesia and is unbeatable in generating traffic for businesses through the web whom want to capitalize on Indonesia’s enormous population.

Please PM me if interested to own these .id PREMIUM top-level domain (ccTLD) at bargain price.

Expensive and hardly any sales. Restrictions on sex, religion related etc.

Much like .uk and .co.uk, .id is strugging against .co.id

Actually ".id" is a lot more popular than ".co.id" nowadays.
It has less restrictions and less requirements.

".ID" was launched since 2 years ago and ".CO.ID" was launched more than 20 years ago.
But within 2 years of its existence, the number of ".ID" registrants are almost surpassing the ".CO.ID" registrants.

Most companies based within Indonesia are using .ID sites as their primary websites and redirecting their .CO.ID sites to the .ID ones and having been doing so for last 2 years now. Also, many international companies are already using .ID sites as their primary portals for Indonesian originated specific traffic and then transferring into their .com sites or even just using the .ID sites as their primary sites over there, built specifically for the Indonesian market.

Sounds like a sales pitch for expensive domains, but simply my opinion.
