And why is that if I may ask?

looking across number of trademark registration websites and neither shows "today show" as registered and live trademark.

Take out the hyphen and you will get redirected to the problem. They been on tv national since the beginning of tv.

They have use on this since 1952, and not some crappy radio show in some little town.

This is why there is warnings on tm look ups that "just because you don't find a term doesn't mean its ok to use that term"
