iDotz.net just started selling them. eNom sells them too, but iDotz is cheaper. It's still a ton at iDotz though, $1299.50 for the name for 10 years, and it's a mandatory 10 year registration. If it wasn't that much, I'd be all over blog.tm and game.tm especially.

I wouldn't say that. The only non-CentralNic sex names that have asking prices are .gd (an extension I'm not even familiar with, probably isn't internationally available or sold at very many places) and .fm (10,000 EUR is a LOT). I've gotten bids on various ccTLD names, recently turning down $2500 for Porn.md. Granted, it seems like the most searched keywords should get easy xxxx in just about any extension, but I think it's a market that is young and growing. A lot of people are skeptical about most of the obscure ccTLD extensions, especially when not many sites are up on them, but as more and more extensions come out, and more sites come up on them, the sales will start coming.

Read the additional info down the right-hand sidebar, particularly the 'terms and conditions' link, and you can quick-jump to other ccTLD's at page bottom.

Careful with the dot.tm's, those Turkmen's seem to be sticklers with the content of any site carrying the .tm extension. I don't know if they could theoretically stop your use of that site forever, and without paying back your reg fee... but worth while to check this out B4 you pony up such large coin for reg fee. Anyone considering buying these might also get threads going on Namepros and other sites until they can find someone with direct experience using dot.tm's.


P.s. when the Turkmen's do appraisals in their own country on sites like this (if they have them), it takes on a whole new meaning when they appraise someone else's domain name at 'reg fee', ha.

Looked at .tm myself but the president for life of Turkmenistan is a complete nutter and anything could change very quickly - the .tm team say thay have an agreement that will last for 20 years - may well be but a ten year min reg on a potentially dodgy extension is not on- If the .tm registars ever go to 1-2 years regs they will make a killing.

Agree with the altenative extensions with good keywords attracting bids, also turned down high $xxxx for Porn.co.in , looks like somebody is on the prowl

I think those from Turkmenistan are Turkmen whereas it is the people from Tukey are Turks :?
