TM r not TM

I re`d a country name oil domain sometime ago, I was thinking about bringing it out to play, hate departing with my babies....

I searched the US TM site no tm, I searched the WIPO no matches searched the european union database no match.

There is a .com on the net whats my position.

Oh yes they have tonnes of oil, the country in question.

Develop? Sell? Park? What's on the .com?

If it's not trademarked, then it's okay to have it - likely - (if you live in Europe) - so I don't really understand your question...?

theres an oil company on the dot com. They have no trade marks but does the .com ownership give them any rights. Its pays to be paranoid...lol

Ok, received a PM and responded there.

He is saying that it is a descriptive domain, which it is. a better example is (country)oil.(ext). So he does seem pretty safe.
