I received an email from
http://homecaresmartz.com
Believe it or not but it actually goes to a godaddy parked page - Say WHAT!!!

If I click the "Reserve your spot" link it goes to:
http://info.homecaresmartz.com/n0Rp0bS039Ud0RZ0H000JS0

Which then promptly forwards to:
https://www.caresmartz360.com/hcaoa-2020-annual-leadership-conference/?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiWlRsbFpEbGhPVEZpWkRNMyIsInQiOiJ1aEFmODVQY2hDTW9wXC95VEJ0SlBtR1wvKzhZVERYcStRcVR6V3ZhbE5iNUFUY3I5c2ZzQ01FUnlpMEd1bjIxQlM3a2VBb01Eb3hJVmRqTThCSVZFOWpoTzJrNjdRQk1RMHQ5YTkzTENoVWJCOHMyZ1Y0WjhzNGwzT0lCa0U3Y1F1In0%3D

OMG - Lets count all the mistakes in this advertisement...

1. Address homecarsmartz.com is a 3 word domain with a misspell. Who the heck does that when you can register half the dictionary in 3 words?

2. homecaresmarts.com goes to a godaddy parked page. Really? - headscratch

3. They are using a sub domain info.homecaresmartz.com to forward to their real domain caresmartz360.com. Why not just use the whole domain parked at godaddy?

4. Their real domain caresmartz360.com is technically a 3 word (I know, two words and numbers) but really, they need to use smartz instead of smarts? They cannot find two other words in the English dictionary to combine with smarts?

So in closing lets analyse their real end domain...

CareSmartz360.com

or is it CareSmarts360.com

or CareSmartzThreeSixty.com

or CareSmartsThreeSixty.com

So many no no's here if you are going to be using a 3 word domain for business.
(Yeah I know I am counting 360 as a word, but technically it's even worse than a word because it could get mistaken for two words)

Anybody else got any opinions on this?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
As domain investors we probably notice domain names in the real world more so than the average person. I see companies with three-word .net domains, a real estate agency with a multi-hyphenated .com, some auto marketplaces using poor-quality three and four-word .com domains and some small businesses using some of the newer extensions but using word combinations that just don't make much sense. Well, the typical person that selects those domains is effectively a domain newbie. This is quite common. End users see little reason to spend more than reg fee on a domain but will not question paying for SEO, lead eneration, Google Adwords, print, billboard and TV ad campaigns. Weird.....
