Where is everyone? Have we lost members because of the constant bashing threads, or have they jumped .mobi ship?

I've noticed the traffic in the .mobi section is WAY off lately.

Hi Garrett, i agree, perhaps they are all spent out, exhausted after weekend auctions(anti climax of over resered private .mobi) or people cannot find any worthwhile .mobi's to reg.

Perhaps the threads are being deleted :o :lol: :ghost:

Well, now that skedaddles.mobi has been taken off the market, seems as if there's not much else to look forward to...

You cant invent news. As much as we'd all like take up as fast as possible, its gonna take time for the extension to catch on, and its still a big if.. But lets keep our fingers crossed huh..

Im sure I can speak on behalf of a lot of long serving members here when i say im pretty sick of the schnanigans going on in this sub forum.. Somewhere Id love to contribute but cant due to all the childish behavior.

From over hyped enthusiasm to pointless goading to posting opinions as facts to every thread ending up in the same pointless way... Its all very un-namepro-like.

imho if you create a thread that doesnt begin as a flame then its highly likely this sub forum will become as professional and as proactive as the .tv sub forum has become..

In summary, us .mobi'ers should conduct ourselves with the professionalism and forethought of the more rational and less childlike .tv'ers. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

Skedaddles is a classic ... unfortunately, a non sale at the present time and back into the .MOBI Vault™ for future development! :tu:

No worries, I made good bank on another .MOBI ... and I'm looking forward to one more new registration perhaps later this week, and then getting back to my unique and compelling development plans (in between golf and summer vacations), IMHO. :gl:

You know, if you look back a ways, it started out that way, and in fact remained that way (give or take) for quite a while. It was sometime earlier this year that things really began to go downhill fast, and .mobi supporters began to get much more defensive due to the relentless bashing of a few particular posters. In the process of being defensive, some equally ridiculous and sometimes "unprofessional" things were said by some.

While the blame can be spread around in many directions, the repercussions from what has taken place here will only spread in one: away from this subforum and on to greener pastures. It's really pretty sad -- for a while there, it was a great place for those of us investing in .mobi. Now many have left for good, others will pop in from time to time, but I think the spirit here has been pretty well ruined. But that doesn't mean that those who believe in .mobi's future success have changed their minds -- it's just going to be elsewhere that they pursue their goals.

No worrries folks!! Its the calm before the storm. june 29/07 is a turning point in history. until people start actually making $ back from the bigger $$$$ spent then as humans do our instinct we go for the throat or abandon ship en masse if things are looking dicey.

Its called SURVIVAL. and until regular people start making decent $ from all of this and not constantly bombared with how much these major corporations are making, then the tendency is defensive. Billions are being made and too many are left out of that loop so why not be bitter about something this nasty?

Too many people dump stock when the chips are down but then EUREKA something hits and the market takes off wondering later on what happened if they dont get back in. Is the Iphone that eureka moment? Fits my criteria for one. You?
