This might seem like a stupid question...

I know there are a lot of very experienced web designers here, and those who run a very successful business on the net, but this is something I can't get my head around!

Is there a script, or a way to automatically send a link to someone once they have made a payment to you via PayPal?

There seems to be a lot of people doing it through ebay (ebooks), and I was wondering if there was a way of doing it through a site I am building?
Someone sees the product, click on the Buy It Now link, Pay, and once payment has been accepted, the information is emailed to them automatically.

Any advice will be appreciated.
Brian :)

Sounds like you'd need to get ahold of your payment facility's API for doing this. Other than that, the best you can do is track exit clicks to the payment broker's site. You could have paypal email you when a payment goes thru, then use a script to parse that email and reformat it for the customer.

It all depends on your needs.

There are many scripts out there that have those functions (Paypal even has it I believe in its Premium Cart script, or whatever it's called) however you will have to pay a good amount for the script.

Check HotScripts.com, they have plenty of choices for scripts of all different languages.
