I registered tabletpowered.com and have it parked on Sedo for the time being but am thinking about developing it to possibly make some money and I have a couple questions. I'm thinking of having it as a tablet review/news site and eventually turning it into a shop with something like amazon affiliate. My question is i have no idea where to even start, what would be a good web host/design site to use to help me start developing. I do also have a full time job in which I work 6 days a week so i do not have a huge amount of time on my hands.

If you are looking at just a review site ,you can use wordpress to set a site or else you can do a search on google and find a script for review sites for free or a small fee.
For hosting you can go with hostgator.com ,they are cheap and will give you all you need and want.
For affilates you can sign up with Linkshare or clickbank or amazon affilates.
You should need more than a few hours to get all this setup, and yes get a neat logo also done.

that's great advice, @domainhotspot!

any ideas on logo design?

WordPress or Joomla should help you for your new site. The logo could be a TP or a triangle(tablet case) and under the triangle the word Powered.com

WordPress with a professional or even a free theme can be up and running; looking great very fast. Allowing you to focus on the most important thing "content".

I agree, Wordpress. A lot of hosts let you do a one-click install.

I wouldn't bother with a logo initially, it is invisible to search engines anyway and most themes will display your domain name well at the top of the site as the title.

Creating pages and content takes time.
