It has such a bad aura... Are you expecting a new world war or why did you register this domain? Better drop it now, because you're not gonna earn money with it.

Vontero,

If you expecting a new world war it does not have a value.. Because if it happens :imho: all internet system will be clopped. And property right of the all domains will be loosed.D-:

But
I am agree with EM and It may has value if there will be a movie or a game with that name.

If you are planning to keep

maki ,
you are right i hope it not happen but the world moving to this direction ... any way i'm thinking to use the name and make a good website talking about expectations for new world war HAHAHAH

You should develop it I think,
it has 301,000 broad searches but the exacts are pretty low at 73
probably only would have resell value without the "the"
imo

Reg fee at best.

Adding "The" does not really make sense. Does anyone call it "The World War 2"?
If it was just WorldWar3.com it would have decent value.

i know word "the" is not good but it may give exact meaning for the war it self ... by the way i know new domain not registered yet and it have about 500,000 monthly searches broad and exact search about 1,600 . Do you think shoud i buy it and by the way it is one word

if it is a real English word then definitely buy it especially if the searches are high that shows you that it is also common...make sure it is in fact a real word though

Vontero,

IMO, If this thread is getting this much comment this shows that this domain has a value. I am not qualified to appraise any domain but from reply count i arrived to this conclusion.

Reply count in one my thread is only one :(

Unless there is a movie or a game that is to be released, nobody is going to buy a negative domain with no obvious commercial use.

That means nothing. Search volume is not what makes a domain valuable.
In general, if a domain is unregistered it is for a reason.

lol theres always a catch,
let me just say this,
if there are this many people trying to do the exact thing you are trying to do and have been since the 80's
what makes you think you can just waltz in to the domaining business and handreg profitable names ?
buying and selling domains is not the place to be if your just looking to make money, for me its interesting and fun.
unlike most people on namepros I DO believe that you CAN infact hand register valuable domains, however it isn't as easy as theworldwar3.com which just doesent make sense, or one word .co's which there are still a lot left to register
I personally handregged willtheworldend.com which when developed may possibly become a very profitable site for me,
kind of like worldwar3.com except more general
I like apocalyptic type domains which is why I commented on this thread to inform you that it is a niche that most people don't consider at all but is very popular,
I am currently waiting to get another apocalyptic name that should be huge for me but I am getting it through an auction,
relying on hand registered domains is very risky and you most likely wont make any money unless you can see into the future or are very, very smart ;)
how smart ?
smarter than the millions of other people like you typing through godaddy and other registras globally every day hoping to hit the "jackpot"

Thank you Texx
actually i have started buying domains form 3 weeks ago . so i am very new and dont know all the game rules so iam just starter who dont know what good to buy and what is not . Also i cant buy domains through auction as i dont have enough money but iam only work into sides the first is buying available domains with good meaning that i can develop as iam web developer or buying valuable domains wich may have value in the future domins that other can buy from me in the future ... iam not that one who just bye any thing no . may be my first 5 domains i bought were bad names but it is ok for me i have tried and didnt loose any thing . but actually i have some domains that i think my have value in the future . so i hope my plans will be ok in future

Your gonna need world war 3 to start and if we do have one now - there won't be anyone online...or alive

I'd get a refund and buy something else..
