Could be some "fan site" Community or something like that.. why would there be TM issues?

A company owns the trademark on "the walking dead" (actually several different in various industries) so if you tried to make a site using that name for the TV series, you are now infringing on their copyright. Although, there can be some fair-use of TMs in some cases, this doesn't fall under that from my understanding from looking at similar cases. That means that the TM owner can start a UDRP against you to take the domain from you for free and possibly make you pay damages/profits you made from using the domain. Not worth the risk.

You can look up trademarks here:
http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/

You can also ask people with more "know" about these issues in this forum:

Hope this helps!

He can do that, but he also risks losing all profits and the domain to UDRP if they so choose. Some companies are very protective.

ya that's why i said "the walking dead products" so by promoting walking dead product they will get royalty by each selling product and it will increase more fans but as you said "risk is risk" after all it's all depend on production company
