To the right end-user the word "the" isn't a big issue. Sometimes we tend to forget that not everyone is like us, spending many waking hours researching, buying, selling, trading, developing, appraising, searching domain names.

The $1500 offer doesn't shock me (well maybe just a little bit)...having said that though, I certainly would be happy with such an offer.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if that's where your Offer originated, and if it didn't, it would see a prime End user "lead", IMHO.

Thanks guys for the comments and feedback. I have not accepted the offer and am willing to wait it out a little longer. The offer did not come from The-Laser.com, so anyways appreciate pointing that out.

Laser is a wide field which can include medical (surgery), industrial applications or entertainment...Thats my logic to wait out..

I have a few domains that start with The.., and hope to find end users for all of them.....TheDrug.com, TheInvention.com, TheSupplier.com...

100 max undeveloped imo. "the" is hard to market on the radio or by ear. "you can find us online at the laser.com" All customers are going to go to "laser.com". imo.
