The Bad
  • Site is auto-stretch.
  • The favicon is a cut off heart and doesn't match site.
  • The dots on the left are red, black, and blue and don't match the purple.
  • Way too much purple in the site.
  • Way too much white in the site.
  • Why do you have 2 logos?

The Good
  • Fast load.

Forum review

Hi. First of all, I really like the template. It has nice colours and borders and a really cool banner. Second, the forum and categories structure and the side bar looks really nice and good. Fourth, the icons near each of the forums look really good.

Good luck with your site!

Overall Rating: 9,5/10

Regards. :)

The site is meant to be auto-stretch. The favicon was my first one that i made, its a test to see if it works, i am currently making a better one and i hope i will the new one reviewed as soon as its up. The logo in the middle with the content/description is the main logo, the one at the header is just for the forum :P.

If theres too much purple then why not use red, black and blue for the dots?

Thankyou fmauniverse.

Red, black, and blue all together with purple do not match. You need colors that work with your color theme.

Check it now? **make sure you see the key too**

The black works but not the blue. It makes me think of default link colors, blah. What key? If you made a new favicon cache has to be cleared to see the new one. Can you be more specific on the key.

The Key as in Blue Dots = Affiliates and Black Dots = Normal Links, it should be at the end of the menu at the dots.

I have now changed the favicon (it should take a while for it to change on the browser, just to let you know, it isnt the heart anymore).

What colour do you think would be better instead of blue PCWebAdvice? Green? Purple? (For the Dots)

The new favicon is nice. What if you make the blue like the blue in the one logo you have. It is a bit more subtle and works better.

I really appreciate your advice and feedback. How is it now?

I really like it but the affiliates link is still dark blue.

Ive made it alittle more lighter (think its baby-blue now)

Now the problem is you have a red overlay on those links. You need some color that isn't blue or purple but matches the theme.

Orange? If not, what do you think?

I don't know but you have a red line at the top and bottom of the site. What if that was that blue color? You could make your colors mostly purple, with some blue, and a little of whatever color you make the link. I can tell you if it matches when you implement it, but no clue what color of the top of my head.

Detailed Analysis

The attractive layout and friendly user-interface caught my attention as I saw your forum. Scrolling down the page, the content was different from other forums with the same concept. The icons just topped the whole appearance. Wonderful. The only thing missing is the posts and activity. I hope the advertising works for you and gets the forum going.

There seems to be a very thin red line at the top of the page and it did catch my attention as I scrolled up again - you should remove that. Your introduction paragraph was quite long and I didn't read it as I saw it the first time. As visitors will see the forum names mentioned, you probably don't need to include them in there.

Your menu on the left is great. Navigation is simple with easy text to read. Your advertisements are also out of the way, and that will make visitors navigate easily. For the forum, I suggest moving the News and Announcements to the top, as members will need to see that first for any special updates > Same goes for Feedback forum.

You've made a great start to the forum. With a bit of advertising and loyal members, it should get the site going. Good luck.
