Hey guys! I'm brand new to this forum and domaining as well. I purchased this domain a few days ago and put it on sale. What would be your appraisal for thefirstdown.com? It definitely belongs in the football/sports niche.

First down dot com would have been amazing. The first down is not that bad of a domain. I could see it being used for a blog or a small site on sports, although no one really says "the first down" in football. I don't particularly like the "the" in front of names, but this has an alright ring to it. I would spend a lot of time learning what great names are. However, for first starting out, its not the worst name. Just keep reading and studying.
