Diabetes is an illness that effects many people worldwide. There are many forums, clubs, and resources available - the words diabetes, and diabetic are regularly searched. The .com has already been taken.

Actually, the .com has expired. But personally, I think it's distasteful. Club is generally a word for a team or group that does fun sports or activities or whatnot. Referring to people who have a medical issue as a 'club' sounds disrespectful. It would be like having a 'cancer club' or 'AIDS club'.
