It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

One of my recent Bodis inquiries was some Australian company... they were ready to pay ~$4K for my .PRO
But finally decided to go with another name... because the owner of keywordPRO in .com.au asked too high price (~$8K).
They need 2 domains. And their budget is not unlimited. So I lost this good deal due to some idiot.

What extension they went for the other domain?

Good luck for the next one

I don't know these details.
I only know that they were ready to spend even ~$5K per .com.au (regged ~2 weeks ago) - but its registrant asked strictly ~$8K.
They want to have both domains: .PRO and .com.au
So my negotiations and deal were lost.

Another case was in July...
Some Danish company offered $1K via Epik lander...
I emailed them with my price and additionally asked their Best Offer for consideration - and silence... they disappeared...
After ~2 weeks they replied that other .PRO domain was purchased for their new business.

+ 3rd failed case...
Some Russian company informed me via WHOIS email that they will NOT pay to Dan their $1K marketplace bid...
They were ready to proceed only via REG.RU brokerage.
It was in July.

p.s. 2020 is my worst year ever.
At least for its 8 months.

Main reason here is Afilias... In 2020 they are completely out of the game...
No any VISIBLE .PROmotional efforts from them, 0.00 at all major registrars.
They think only about .io and .info

.PRO should be sold to Donuts or Verisign, or to another smart company...
~9 years .PRO with Afilias - did you notice any significant .PROgress??? Afilias is absolutely impotent in terms of marketing.

9,1XX domains netloss in August.
YTD change: 289.6K+ >>> ~272.5K
This is how Afilias "works"...

@DNGear
What are your results on Uni?

For me total silence since May... Even fakes disappeared.
All domains are with enabled Uni brokerage.

Thanks for asking. @Jurgen Wolf
It seems to be a big mess in Uniregistry. Some brokers wouldn't care about enquiries.
They just seems to deal with XXXXX, XXXXXX offers.
I dont know which leads they normally deal with.
From my experience, its a time waste.

Not only uniregistry, Some marketplaces dont seems to have ethics. They just need traffic.
They just grab traffic and do whatever they want.
I dont see a trustworthy marketplace except AfterNic from my experience.

IMHO

~70% of my Uni domains are in BIN mode.
And even non-payers disappeared, last fake was on April'25 per high $xxx BIN.

Just received from Uni...

GoDaddy is indeed part of our sales network but the syndication with them is not live yet.
Our developers are currently building this so pretty soon domains listed on the Uniregistry Market will appear for sale on the GoDaddy search as well.

Last weekend I have disabled Uni brokerage for all my domains there... as experiment...
+ disabled "Email confirmation".

Just tried Web.com today... absolutely randomly...
And .PRO is still NOT supported there... 2020 year...
I can't comment Afilias anymore.

Ryan from Uni said that their brokerage must be enabled for syndication...

And I just checked a few my UniMarket .PROs on GoDaddy...
At least partially it works as of now... some of them are shown...
I guess, next week all Uni inventory will be visible...

And I see them on Dynadot as well...
So now UniMarket works using AfternicDLS backend...

Unfortunately, it has very little effect for us...
Because if you submit at GoDaddy just desired keyword (without TLD) - .PRO listings are NOT offered...
