My tone had changed some with this concept. I would rather own keyword tv.com format between the 2.

Ronnie is right. I too wouldn't have been a buyer in todays market with this format besides porn related channel names.

It was heavily hyped up and I hyped up channels format and got a couple emails last year that were not that pleasant in my thinking on channels concept. The "e" keyword was also hyped up as well but not as bad as channnel or channels format.

My lesson learned in all this as my 1 year is coming up, don't follow along all the hype and just buy generic words or be in the field that your investing inn for names and eventually develope.

Hey all you domainers

These XXXXChannel.tv domains??

I dont have any at the moment but there a quite a few I want to reg but I am not sure if I should go in big and reg all 30-40 I want ot just reg a few and risk losing them to someone else.

What are your thoughts on this and you all obviously believe that this type of domain will become popular. IN the future, can you see all subjects having their own interactive .TV website in the near future and kids/student learning via these sites (Online Exams, tutorials, videos, photos etc etc)

Is this the way you all believe it will go, if that is the case, I may just dive in reg all the names I want

My view is that Keyword+Channel.tv's looks good & will be easy to brand/market BUT i would not expect to be able to sell many for a big profit anytime soon.
They may be a decent longterm bet if you cant get the pure keyword but i would be very picky, i would not reg a whole bunch of them unless you are happy to hold for years.

If you like Channel .tv's then i'll sell you BMXChannel.tv at a fair price. :sold:

I see great names owned by members!
I own BasketballChannel.tv, VoyeurChannel.tv, CruiseChannel.tv, FlowerChannel.tv and a few others.

Sure, always check with uspto and other national or international trademark systems before regging a name.

FightChannel.TV - I have had alot of offers for this one. The day after I bought, I received 2 seperate $500 offers and a week later one of the boxing sanctioning bodies contacted me about it, of course I asked for $25k so I didnt get a reply....LOL!
