The Manic Haiku Game

How it works:

Haikus are short poems with the structure 5 - 7 - 5, which means the first line is 5 syllables long, the second one is 7 syllables, and then back down to 5 syllables.

On your turn, you must write a Haiku using a word supplied by the person that went before you. Once you write your haiku using the word, you must then supply the next word for the next poet ;)

Example:

(the imaginary friend before me wanted me to write a haiku about domain names, so here is my Haiku)

I love domain names
in every shape and size
and they love me too

Next Haiku word: HOST

***************************************

... the next person up must write a haiku using the word "host" somewhere in the poem... then proceed to offer the next word.

If you are confused or have any questions let me know, and I will try to explain better...

otherwise, jump in and have fun -

Good Luck

Snapped that great domain,
but sadly it has no use,
now selling it cheap.

Sad is how I feel
When after six months of waiting
The name is re-regged

Sad is how I feel
When the name I had backordered
Shows new name server

Sad is how I feel
When the name I had big plans for
Has a new owner
