Hey nP members,

now .cloud is available - so I start this .cloud SHOWCASE and DISCUSSION thread.

Feel free to reply to the following questions:
  • What .cloud domain have you registered?
  • Why?
  • What you think about this gTLD?

Let me start:

What .cloud domain have I registered?
cloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloudcloud.cloud

Why I registered it?
Because it includes the maximum ammount of 'cloud' in a
.cloud domain (12 times + TLD).

What I think about this gTLD?
I think
.cloud has good chances to become famous - a 'megacloud' is probably the goal of those who control the world wide web. But until this will happen, there need to arise many 'small clouds'* which will merge ('bought') by the 'big players' in future - the 'attraction of data collection'.

*if they become significant

Picked up a few NNN, like 879.

Numbers are universal and shorter the better. I thought English word new gtlds wouldn't go over well in non-English speaking countries, but just look at how .club, .click, .top and other similar ones have been taken up. Cloud is a fairly universal tech term and will probably be in use for a long time.

I don't know if .cloud will take off or not, but just wanted to have a few.

I just bought bear.cloud by accident. Oh well.

Maybe since the word in all other new extensions cost $500+, someone may want it for $100 or whatever?
bear.club $5000
bear.online $1400
bear.build $650
bear.care $500
bear.video $900
bear.green $1950
bear.tech $700
bear.space $700
bear.fit $1300
bear.website $700
beer.cloud - $65,000 - crazy!
