Not saying this will have any success but .business looks a lot more serious than .biz imo.

I think the “meaning” of the domain name is the most important.
Rather than its length.

its all depends on how end user see and dotbusiness sounds good more than dotbiz, its my opinion

Don't see .business as a serious 'extension' unless you don't use it as an extension:

Funny.Business
Mindyourown.business
Takingcareof.business

But to simply add .business to your business name is redundant.

IMO this is why .biz failed. Its not a proper 'extension'...its a 'business' extension to your business??? That doesn't make any sense?! Now a 'commerce'(.com) extension to your business makes sense! An extension of your business that sells.
