there is a big different from someone giving an appraisal and then trying to buy it on the cheap.....so i save my gratitude to someone who is not trying to pull the wool over my eyes, thank you.

$10K is not cheap, you must be quite the wealthy man

$10k is cheap when the domain name is valued at $99k and the guy who sold russia.org sold it cheap, thats not me, i am not going to sell it cheap.........like the buyer of sfs.com offered me $22k and i said no way, 2 weeks later the buyer offered me $79k......you just need to hold your ground and know what you have is worth......

Roughly 3.5% to 10% of the .com's value, undeveloped. If you were to develop it....could be worth a solid multiple more.


Wholesale: $3.5k to $10k

Retail: $35k to low $xxx,xxx

It really depends on your ability to negotiate/ the buyers need for the name. There is definite value but because it's .org the valuation range is not as concrete as it would be in .com.

for right buyer, the price can be huge, say, Thaksin or Yingluck, some day want buy it, 100k is really a small money for them...

but for reseller, russia.org is an example, max resseller price will below 10k imo...

so, good luck, try to outbound to those possible end user, u will get reward...

that my point, it wasn't an appraisal was it?...... it was someone trying to buy it the same price i payed back in 2007 when anyone can see it is valued at $99k.......just because i pointed that out doesn't make me a bad guy.........like i said i am not going to sell the domain name for $10k when its valued at $99k...

Automated appraisals are a joke. An old member like you should know.
They also tend to overestimate domains, so if you're buying based on auto appraisals, you are very likely going to pay too much (end user pricing or worse). That makes it difficult to resell for a profit.

It is a very nice name but high 5 figures for a country name in .org is a bit high.
(Low) 6 figures is the range for a country name in .com and you are expecting 99K for your name...
So the value is closer to 10K than 99K imo.

Actually @maxtra is right about estibot and he is just letting the domain owner know that dont live in dreams like many do... be realistic

101% estibot appraisals are nonsense you should know that and be respectful of others comments and thoughts. As for the name you can definitely without a doubt sell it way more than what estibot gave with proper hardwork.

compare zimbabwe.com, I personaly feel thailand.org is much useful, if I am Yingluck, I will buy it and return to thailand like the godness....owning this name is critical for her or her fans.party.supporters....if I am you, I even consider donate this to her, while request become her CIO, as part of her team, not every one can have chance with her....lots of people love her..
