I'm a frequent user of both IE and Firebird, moving more and more to the later. As IE does not handle the cols attribute for textareas anything close to correctly, the current cols number gives a good width for the message box in IE. But then when moving to Firebird I get a box that's about half the width of the IE one.
This could be fixed by giving a style='width:80%' for the textarea (or some other number/unit suitable).
I'm not telling you this really needs to be fixed, but it's a thing getting more annoying by each message.
PS. This is also applicable for many other browsers that are closer to standards compliant than IE.
Anyone else experienced this a problem? In other words, anyone else using something but IE?
