Hey everyone. I'm offering text links on http://www.blogcatalog.com

Currently, the main page is a PR 4. This is largely due to Google lacking PR updates the past few months. I have many, many reasons to believe that it is actually a strong PR 6. Here's a few reasons behind my reasoning:

There's quite a few PR 5 links that are sub pages. Generally, the home page has the highest PR. With so many PR 5 links, it's safe to say that the home page is higher than all the rest. Here's just a short list of PR 5 links

* http://www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/submit_blog.html
* http://www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/manage_blog.html
* http://www.blogcatalog.com/misc/faq.html
* http://www.blogcatalog.com/sitemap.html
* http://www.blogcatalog.com/directory/politics

Also, the site has quite a few backlinks in the various search engines:
Google Backlinks: 4,230
Yahoo! Backlinks: 96,200
MSN Beta Backlinks: 26,810

You can see statistics for the site here: http://www.blogcatalog.com/awstats.png

Also, please ignore the first two days of December. There was a misconfiguration with AWStats where it was counting a javascript file (people put them on their sites to rank their blogs) in the stats. After the 2nd, the stats are accurate.

The site averages ~380 unique visitors a day

I'm asking $15/month for text links on the front page. If you're interested in site-wide links, please contact me privately, and we can arrange something.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.

Also, all payment processing should be done through PayPal.

very low traffic could be a reason. or people actually link to your subpages rather then your index.

just because you have a lot of subpages pr5, that doesnt mean that your main page is higher. if less people link to and visit your index page, then i doubt your pr will be higher.

i had a pr6 and dropped to a 5. why? i have no idea. my traffic went up and i got better trades, but still went back to a 5. hell, i even got rid of my daily plugs to limit my outlinks.

if we could figure out google pr, they would probably come up with a new ranking method to drive us all nuts.
